How do I set up the correct location permission in iOS when I install or reinstall the app?

To get the rewards you’ve earned, the HiRoad app must capture your driving scores. That’s why, when you first download the app, we’ll ask you for access the following:

• Location
• Motion
• Notifications

If you didn’t enable permissions when you first downloaded the app, you can change this in your settings.

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Select HiRoad.
3. Enable Location (we recommend choosing ‘Always’).
4. Enable Motion & Fitness.
5. Allow Notifications.

If you prefer not to enable your location, you will not receive your driving rewards in the duration that your location settings are disabled.
